Volunteering in Euexia, Spain

I am Melinda, a 22 years old Hungarian girl. I finished the university this year and I decided to stop pursuing my educational path for a while and try something new. I really like travelling so I knew I want to do that.

As a physiotherapist helping people is really important to me. I wanted to travel and help others too and that’s why I chose to become a volunteer.

I wanted also to practice my profession so I found an ESC volunteering opportunity in Plasencia, Spain, at Placeat (project coordinated by Euexia) where I will work with disabled people. Improving my knowledge and helping others is a good option too in this way. I applied to a project in Spain because I am obsessed with Spanish and their traditions. This project offers me the possibility to develop myself, my profession and to learn Spanish while improving my English level as well.
